Going Before the King

Esther 4:16...and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

There are times in all of our lives when we must face a king. Whether it is in our workplace, our home or even in some cases, our place of worship. In this passage Esther felt the call to take action in order to save her people because of an evil law that had been put in place. Her uncle went to her because she was the queen. This was ironic since she was a Jew and the law was against Jews. Her uncle had to remind her of who she was and that she should do something because of her position.

How many times have we had to be reminded of who we are by friends and loved ones?

When faced with life's difficult twists and turns, we will at some point, find ourselves in an Esther moment. A time when we must come out of our "safe" place and do what is right despite the power(s) we must face. At those times when we must face "the king", let us remember our true King and remember that we are a royal priesthood. We are sons and daughters of the Most High and He promises to always be with us!

So no matter what kings you and I face, we can go before them boldly with strength, and joy because my Father and your Father will be right there with us and ALL will work out according to His Will!

Much love, peace and respect to you!

Friends and Tea

There is something spiritual about having a hot pot of African Nectar tea with friends or even strangers. The calming quality of the beverage causes people to reach out in ways that coffee or soda never would. The fragrance engulfs the immediate area and radiates with a sense of peace. I pray that your day is blessed!
